The winery is located within the municipality of Aia, some 9km. from Zarautz, within a marvelous enclave, on the sloping side of The Eztenagako Txorrua Mountain. It is some 300mts. above sea level and affords a panoramic view across the sea: to the left, lies the Ratón headland of Getaria and to the right, the estuary of the fishing port of Orio, while the winery itself is surrounded by 15 acres of vineyards which surround the building.

The building was designed by the architects, Alonso & Balaguer and it is a minimalistic structure, elegant and functional which blends perfectly with the natural landscape while at the same time it respects the natural environment surrounding it.

The design of K 5 Argiñano and its development is the work of Mikel Urmeneta and Kukuxumusu.
